Ghana Teak. Grown slow, graded strict.

Ghana's plantation belt produces some of the most consistent teak available outside natural-growth forests — even grain, reliable dimensions, and a supply chain we've worked with directly for years.

Why we source teak from Ghana

Ghana's teak plantations, concentrated around the Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo regions, were established on a managed rotation system, which gives the timber a straighter grain and more predictable dimensions than wild-harvested stock. The tropical, consistent rainfall through most of the year keeps growth steady, so log diameters and density stay uniform across a shipment.

Every container we bring in is hand-graded on arrival at our yard — checked for moisture content, sapwood ratio, and surface defects — before it's released to stock. This is the same grading discipline we apply across our Pan India teak sourcing, and it's why contractors keep coming back for repeat orders.

Where it's used

Ghana teak's tight, even grain and natural oil content make it a strong choice for outdoor furniture, boat decking, and premium joinery where both weather resistance and finish quality matter. It also takes stain and oil finishes cleanly, which makes it a favourite among high-end furniture manufacturers.
